Yana Markidan, MD

Dr. Markidan has completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Pennsylvania Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania Health System.  She earned her medical degree from The George Washington University School of Medicine, where she was recognized as the most outstanding student in Obstetrics and Gynecology.  Her undergraduate education was completed at the University of Maryland, where she received the Howard Hughes Medical Institute Grant to fund her research, and graduated with honors. 

Her areas of interest include general and high-risk obstetrics, adolescent gynecology, family planning, sexual health, management of perimenopause/menopause, and laparoscopic and vaginal surgery.

Dr. Markidan sees patients at our Lawrenceville and East Windsor offices, delivers babies and operates at the University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro.  She is fluent in Russian
